ART AT THE ABBEY'S "ONE HEART, ONE MIND" EXHIBITION

A CALL FOR ARTISTS

We are pleased to announce A CALL FOR ARTISTS for this year’s Art at the Abbey exhibition. This is a Juried Art Show.


If you are interested in participating (or you know someone who might be interested), please submit the following via email:

  • Digital image of your piece (minimum size: 300 dpi in JPEG format)

  • Title and brief description of your piece to include 1) dimensions, 2) materials used, and 3) how it expresses your interpretation of the theme (no more than 100 words)

  • Artist statement about yourself or the artist you represent (no more than 100 words)

All above information must be sent to cchavez@norbertinecommunity.org by September 7 (we will NOT accept submissions without each required element or after the submission deadline date).

Submitted works may include (but are not limited to): paintings, drawings, photographs, digital media, wood art, sculptures, written poems/stories, performance art, etc. We will only accept one piece per featured artist. All art must be ready-to-hang/display. You will be informed regarding acceptance into this Art at the Abbey exhibition by September 13-14.

If you would like to include a price for your piece, you must also provide contact information (Name & Phone Number) which will be included in the art exhibition booklet.

We appreciate your interest in this community exhibition and thank you for covering costs of shipping and handling, if selected. If you wish, you may physically deliver your work in person on one of the dates to be disclosed upon acceptance.

This Art at the Abbey exhibition will be held in remembrance of Fr. Graham R. Golden, O. Praem. (1986-2021), co-founder of Art at the Abbey and beloved priest, son, uncle, brother and friend.
