October 23-November 13, 2020

ART AT THE ABBEY'S "A VISION OF HOPE & HEALING" EXHIBITION

Viewing Details

ART AT THE ABBEY invites you to experience our 5th Annual Art Exhibition, "A Vision of Hope & Healing." This exhibition will open on Friday, October 23rd and close Friday, November 13th at Santa Maria de la Vid Abbey (5825 Coors Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121).

Due to the current pandemic, we will not be hosting full-scale opening and closing events as in past years. These dates will, instead, be among the open-house-style 'open viewing days' during which the community is welcome to visit the Abbey (in person) to see the featured art. The exhibition will also be open for in-person viewing during the Norbertine Library's hours (see all of the open viewing days/times below).

If you are feeling unwell (fever, cough, or other COVID-19 symptoms) or have been in contact with anyone infected with COVID-19, please stay home and experience the exhibition through our online display platform at www.artattheabbey.com.

If you are feeling well and comfortable, we invite you to visit the Abbey during one or more of the open viewing days.
During your visit we ask that you:
• Wear a face mask at all times
• Make use of hand sanitizer provided in each building of the exhibition
• Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from other guests
• Follow postage signage and any instructions given by exhibition hosts
• Enjoy the art, but avoid lingering so that everyone who is present may have an opportunity to view all works in the exhibition

We're excited to safely welcome you! All are welcome!

"... we find inspiration in the resilient spirit of those among whom we live and serve and hope that our life may not only be a beacon of light in the darkness, but a mirror that allows the world to see the emerging presence of goodness and grace already sown by our Creator in the heart of every person."
